This one is an absolute gem of a character who sent me her selfie for her intro photo - and as an up and coming (and clearly soon to be excellent) trainee photographer with Studio 2 - who am I to argue? I asked Ashleigh for a bio .. something short and snappy.. so I am going to let this gorgeous, open and genuine woman speak for herself:
"I am a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and have been out now for coming up to 4 years. I class myself as a transgender woman and I am also pansexual - before coming out I was always an avid ally and have attended multiple pride events in the past.
It's a great honour to be invited onto the Studio 2 team as the teams' Diversity and Inclusivity Champion.
I first joined Studio 2 as a photographer at one the many female empowerment days, being completely accepted and welcomed in by everyone, with no issues at all and have since joined in with many of the other awesome shoots that the studio has to offer.
I'm very excited to join everyone in this and I aim to bring many inclusive and diverse opportunities for the community and hopefully spread awareness and knowledge about the LGBTQIA+ in the work we do as a team.
